Hi, we are Wendy and Peter Murphy, long time residents of Hawke’s Bay. When we made the move to Napier from Central Hawke’s Bay we came to wondering what we would like to do and, on reflecting back on our life we realised that working in the hospitality industry was one of our most enjoyable times, so it was not surprising that we chose to open our home to welcoming guests once again and have not had a moment of regret. We really enjoy having guests and the evenings are our favourite time when our guests join us for a drink and some canapes.
A complimentary drink and canapes are offered the evening of your arrival before you head out for your evening meal. We are very spoiled for choice with the fabulous restaurants and are very happy to help point you in the direction of what suits your taste.
If required we are happy to meet you at the airport or the bus station and once you have made your booking and wish to find out more or need any help planning your drive to Napier from elsewhere in New Zealand, email us via the contact form and we will be very happy to help you plan your time in the Bay.
We look forward to meeting you.
“The Highlight of Our Holiday – Wonderful”
Where can I start Wendy and Peter, you made us feel so welcome when we arrived rather earlier than expected. We only stayed with you for three nights, not long enough. You have a lovely house, and guest accommodation second to none.Wendy and I both had tears in our eyes when we left as you felt like friends after only a short stay with you. Your lovely swimming pool was great and our chats with you at 6 o’clock drinks n snacks was much appreciated. Many thanks to you both. Oh by the way PETE’S SPECIAL ain’t bad either. Regards Wendy and Len Lawson.
